Zemba Bros., Inc.’s family field day is the event that is closest to our hearts. This event was born from the idea that children of all ages should have the opportunity to play in the dirt. In the early days, we created the event around 4 pieces of small excavating equipment that each child had the opportunity to run with the assistance of our employees, a small petting zoo and a straw maze. Over the years, the event has grown to approximately 15 pieces of equipment, a complete petting zoo, a straw maze, pony rides, archery demonstrations, clowns, and tractor pulls, etc. This project is made possible by the hard work of our employees who donate their time, our corporate sponsors that provide the much needed money to fund such a project and the eager children that wait tirelessly in the lines to operate their favorite construction machine. Lunch is provided for $1.00 with all the proceeds going to local charities.
